Neste pequeno texto, faremos uma breve recapitulação em torno da tese do realismo de György Lukács. Com foco em alguns textos ensaísticos dos anos 1930, trataremos da perspectiva lukacsiana acerca da temática da arte e do realismo em um contexto sócio-político determinado. O pressuposto da defesa do realismo na literatura, tema central no decênio de 30, perpassava: 1) a temporalidade da obra, 2) sua particularidade que exprime a relação entre forma e conteúdo, e estava vinculado às 3) mediações de ação e movimento das personagens, de composição da trama etc. Ao final, faremos breves considerações acerca da atualidade dos pressupostos lukacsianos.

In this short text, we will briefly recapitulate around the thesis of realism by György Lukács. Focusing on some essays from the 1930s, we will deal with the lukacsian perspective about the theme of art and realism within a determined socio-political context. The assumption of the defense of realism in literature, a central theme in the decade of 30, passed: 1) the temporality of the work, 2) its particularity that expresses the relationship between form and content, and was linked to 3) mediations of action and movement of the characters, of the plot composition, etc. At the end, we will make brief considerations about the topicality of the Lukacsian’ assumptions.
